All online donations support Rainforest Foundation US’s work to protect the rainforests of Central and South America and will be allocated to the area of greatest need.
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and are processed in US dollars. Rainforest Foundation is a US nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number 95-1622945) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Policies
The board develops a comparative base for the evaluation of executive compensation that approximates our organization. This is then reviewed by the board in determination of any annual salary adjustments from the perspective of market competitiveness and prior year performance.
Rainforest Foundation US receives funding though institutional and governmental grants and private donations. This includes a Grant Agreement between the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation and Rainforest Foundation US, Inc. 2021-2025.
