Wendy PinedaProject Coordinator-Peru
Mapping maven, Wendy Pineda has more than 10 years of experience defending indigenous land rights in Peru. She puts her geographic and environmental engineering skills to use by creating participatory tools and training communities in their use, ensuring that communities lead the efforts in protecting and managing their ancestral lands. Prior to working for the Rainforest Foundation, Wendy worked for the Interethnic Association for the Development of the Peruvian Rainforest, the Federation of Indigenous Communties of the Corrientes River and Shinai. She holds a BS in Geographic and Environmental Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal.
