Tambi\u00e9n apoyamos a nuestros socios de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Pueblos Amerindios (APA) en la incidencia para la revisi\u00f3n de legislaci\u00f3n crucial a fin de que cumpla con los est\u00e1ndares internacionales, en particular la Ley Amerindia de 2006. \u2028\u2028<\/p><p>Adem\u00e1s de los t\u00edtulos formales de propiedad, tambi\u00e9n apoyamos a dos Consejos Distritales en el desarrollo de planes de uso de la tierra orientados a la conservaci\u00f3n para grandes \u00e1reas de tierras consuetudinarias no tituladas. Las comunidades del Alto Mazaruni llevan adelante un caso legal desde 1998 ante el Tribunal Superior de Guyana para asegurar el t\u00edtulo colectivo sobre la totalidad de su territorio, mientras el gobierno contin\u00faa otorgando concesiones mineras en tierras tradicionales no tituladas sin su Consentimiento Libre, Previo e Informado (CLPI).
